The Challenge

To develop a 20 year infrastructure and skills plan for the Resources sector.

The Solution

Together with Professor Richard Blandy (Australasian Economics) we went on to establish;

• Evaluated infrastructure demands by surveying resources and energy companies

• Evaluated infrastructure owners and operators long term infrastructure plans

• Identified gaps and priorities to deliver greatest economic return

• Recommended infrastructure implementation and coordination models

The Benefits

• Defined the infrastructure and skills demands and gap to existing plans
  Creation of Resources Energy Sector Infrastructure Council (RESIC) as the mechanism that private sector and government work to recommend infrastructure priorities and studies and policies to governments
