Regional Roads Assessment
Evaluation of the value that Public Access Roads (PAR)’s provides users
There are 24 PAR’s throughout the state used by pastoralists, miners, tourism and recreational drivers.
The Problem
These roads require significant support and maintenance that is managed by the Pastoral Board.
The Solution
Interviewing and surveying 70 stakeholders over two weeks including Pastoralists, Miners, Department of Transport, Regional Development Australia, National Parks and Wildlife, Outback Communities Authority, Tourism SA and 4WD Clubs. This provided the quantitative and qualitative evidence to define the issues and opportunities and value attribution of each PAR.

Provide the client with recommendations to improve value of the roads to users.
